To Compare or To Contrast.. That was the question

25 years of skatin'

The answer is to Contrast.

To contrast the CCS online store to the old and current versions of the CCS catalogue.

I've been looking at the catalogues ever since elementary school. I couldn't wait for the day that I would get the newest copy to take into school to show all my buds the phreshest decks. We would drool over things we had no money to buy and no clue how to order over the mail. Those days seemed impossible compared to the ease of the internet now.

Now with the online store, it doesn't matter where one is, everyone and anyone can get a deck and go shred. You can get in on contests, see where skate events are going down, and to be informed on the newest and long time pro skaters. The only thing I don't like about CCS is the rise in Rastafarian and drug influenced shirts and skate decks. I don't remember seeing anything like that when I was young, maybe I did and I just had no clue what it meant. I'm not protesting anything, I just feel its not a good image to carry around. It makes money and that's what it's all about now a days.

Anyways, keep pushing.

Media Violence...... Procrastination at it's finest

Talk about a good topic gone bad. Let's just say, this was not my best moment when it comes to class presentation assignments. I realized about 2 or 3 days before the due date that all I had acomplished was putting my name and title on the paper. Between multiple class projects being worked on at one time, this project seemed to just slip my mind. Needless to say, this project could have been a lot better and well organized. I'm just glad I has something put together in time, I had acutally finished that morning before presenting. If I could I would redo my topic, but I can not so I will just settle.
